You can choose from the onsen in the residence, or the onsen in nearby Kamitera-Yu and more. The Residence Yasushi Lodge is also close to restaurants and shops, so you can explore all the area has to offer. It is also the perfect base to explore the beautiful Nagano Prefecture.
9.6/10Wonderful experience at the lodge for 8 skiers. Believe this is one of the only places in town that can accommodate such a large group. The location is as good as you'll get in Nozawa, not ski-in/out but a very brief walk to your first chair lift/moving walkway. Incredibly warm and friendly staff, at least one of the beautiful onsen were always open for guest use, the Japanese robes were perfect for lounging after a day of skiing, and the beds were outrageously comfortable. Nozawa itself is incredibly charming and filled with incredible restaurants - I would go more to visit Nozawa rather than for the skiing which is pleasant and big enough to explore for a few days but more advanced skiers will likely find it too easy. That said, we didn't do much off-piste as the powder wasn't too inviting the days we were there....
